Total Gym Cable This cable fits all Total Gym models! It is not made to fit other home gyms Made from aircraft grade, 7x19, nylon coated, galvanized steel cable. This is the top of the line cable build for flexibility and robustness right here in the USA. This original Total Gym cable is made of 7x7 vinyl coated cable. The 19 wires that make up the cable 7x19 cable are a smaller diameter and are therefore less rigid than the 7 wires that make up the 7x7 cable. That makes the 7x19 cable more flexible than the 7x7 cable and therefor more robust to flexing around the pulleys. The other upgrade you will get with this cable is in the coating. The original vinyl coating seen on the 7x7 cable is not as capable to stand up to the constant flexing around the pulleys. This makes the nylon coating a more robust option for all Total Gym models.
